Machine Operator

• Ability to start and stop the machine safely without supervision.
• Ability to place unfinished parts and remove finished parts from machine safely.
• Monitor machine operation.
• Check part quality with designated measurement instruments and understand when and how to stop machine safely.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery.
• Operate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Oversee the machine while executing tasks and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
• Produce quality parts according to manufacturing targets and schedules as directed by the Plant Manager.
• Record all machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping.
• Assume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Keep a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Plant Manager.

• Willingness to learn and improve to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• High school diploma or GED required. Adequate work experience may be substituted.
• Willingness to follow written or oral work instructions and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing tools and machinery including facers, lathes, CNCs, and other mechanical machinery.
• Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work well with others, be organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Willingness to work in shifts that may include early or late hours, weekends, or overtime if necessary.

• Satisfactory pre‑employment drug testing is required.
