Nurse Practitioner Neurology​/Stroke

Description

Provides follow-up care in the clinic setting for stroke patients discharged from the hospital, following established standards and protocols with minimal supervision. Regularly participates in hospital call coverage with neurology physicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program:

• 3 years Professional nursing experience in a clinic setting.

• Texas Registered Nurse license AND Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through Texas Board of Nursing

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Designation
