Acute Care RN - Surgery HOPD at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Acute Care RN - Surgery HOPD independently provides safe and therapeutic nursing care to surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. This role requires an accredited nursing program graduation, a Texas Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. Description

The RN independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Upon hire:
    Texas Registered Nurse License.
  • Upon hire:
    National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year RN experience
