Flight Nurse is part of the specialty transport team of experts to safely transport patients between medical facilities and accident scenes. An important aspect includes collaboration with other medical and emergency service providers for the purpose of establishing continuity of care by applying problem solving strategies to patient case challenges, adapting to a dynamic and challenging environment, and advancing treatment modalities/interventions with the end goals of providing the highest patient care and improving patient outcomes.

• This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
• This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:

  Lubbock
• Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.
• Flexible and available to work on a variable shift which may include days, evenings, or nights shifts.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Upon hire:
  Texas Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
• Within 1 year of hire:
  National Trauma Nursing Core Course - Emergency Nurses Association
• Within 2 years of hire: (see below)
• Neonatal Pediatric Transport Subspecialty Certification (C-NPT)
  -OR-
• Registered Nurse Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB)
  -OR-
• Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN)
• 3 or more years of experience in acute care nursing

• 5 or more years of PICU, NICU, and/or L&D experience
• 3 or more years of Flight Nursing/Specialty Transport Nursing

Pay range: $37.63 - $58.42. This range is the base pay; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
