American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intermediate Care/Step-Down unit position requiring telemetry and post cath lab procedural care experience at a Level II Trauma Center.

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/Step-Down) of a short term acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Cares for patients requiring cardiac drips, post cath lab procedural care, and trach/vent management
• Floating required between units
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per schedule period
• No on-call responsibilities
• 48-hour work weeks approved

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds
• Dress code requires solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO accommodated for this position
