American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Level II Trauma Center requiring 3 years of ICU experience and a seasoned travel background.

• Work in the ICU of a short-term acute care hospital with 379 staffed beds
• Level II Trauma Center
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:00)
• 6 weekend shifts required to fulfill unit needs
• Floating between units required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active TX or compact RN license required in hand at submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Seasoned travel nursing experience required
• Experience with CV surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVDs, neurosurgery, and lab interpretation required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, which may include Charge RNs/Leads

• Provide ICU-level nursing care including management of ventilated, cardiovascular, neurological, and multisystem organ dysfunction patients
• Dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs or uniforms for licensed nursing personnel
• Free parking available in designated employee/visitor surface lots
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
