American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring a TX or compact RN license and 2 years of experience, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.
Details- Work in the Pediatrics unit of a children's hospital
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Center setting
- Patient ratios of 1:3-5
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00
- Floating required between units
- On-call required based on unit census
- Weekend requirement of 5 shifts within a 6 week period
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- 2 years of nursing experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Provide pediatric nursing care within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Navy scrub color required for RNs
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space with bike racks on site
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
