11/01/2026. Travel - temporary assignment lasting multiple weeks with weekly pay between $2,785 and $3,008. This assignment offers 8-hour day shifts, five days per week, in a hospital-level PCU team within a hospital setting. Guaranteed hours: none. This is a PRN travel opportunity managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- Start date:
11/01/2026 - Work setting: travel assignment in a PCU within a hospital-type environment
- Monitor and assess patients in a progressive or step-down care unit, including frequent vital signs and monitoring for changes in condition
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and document responses accurately
- Implement and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Respond promptly to deteriorating patient status and escal
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and high-quality standards of care
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team; document care in the electronic health record
- Provide patient and family education about diagnoses, procedures, medications, and post-discharge planning
- Active Registered Nurse license in Texas (or ability to practice in Texas)
- Comfortable working in a PCU/high-acuity hospital setting
- Ability and willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Assignment coordination and ongoing support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC
- Travel support during the assignment
- Housing options or stipends vary by assignment and location
- Potential extension opportunities based on staffing needs and performance
