Overview
Food Service Attendant - Dietary position at Providence Lubbock, a part‑time, onsite role focused on delivering safe, quality meals to patients in compliance with HACCP guidelines. The role includes menu selection assistance, meal assembly, accurate and timely delivery, and maintaining a courteous, patient‑centered environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverages according to established quality and safety standards.
- Assist patients with menu selections and ensure meal trays are accurate and delivered on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, following health‑and‑safety protocols.
- Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly, courteous manner, promoting a caring atmosphere.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call/per‑diem coverage as scheduled.
- National Food Handler Card from state, county, or city authority required upon hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Food service experience in healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality settings.
- Experience with dietary or nutrition education.
