Food Service Cooks are responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. They will cook deli products according to The United Family’s specifications and standards. All duties must be performed safely.

• Greet and engage guests upon entry to the area or department.
• Follow designated food production lists and perform tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform all cooking functions ensuring no cross contamination occurs.
• Maintain safety standards during all cooking activities.
• Complete closing duties, including working the walk-in coolers and freezers, cleaning floors, and organizing the workspace with proper product storage.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, squat, climb, and walk, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and complete sales reporting forms.
• Ability to work in a controlled atmosphere for up to 8-10 hours and in a freezer for 15 minutes.
• Satisfactory operation of kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and food processors.
• Maintain current Food Safety certification.
• Ability to work as part of a team and accept coaching.
