Floral Clerk – United Supermarkets, LLC Overview

A Floral Clerk is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by building a reputation for Ultimate Service. He/She will perform all floral duties, including processing of orders and floral design. Execute floral procedures as outlined by company and Floral Manager.

• When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest.
• Differentiate in products and service by producing quality products.
• Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management.
• Utilize floral systems and processes consistently and correctly.
• Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment.
• Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guests.
• Follow attendance tardiness guidelines in accordance with team member handbook.
• Perform floral duties in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assist in watering and department maintenance as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested or required by upper management.

• Working knowledge of plants and flowers.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, efficient and controlled manner.
• Ability to perform all physical aspects of the floral duties including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
• Ability to read, write and complete company forms for sales reporting.
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
• Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays.
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
