The Porter works with the Service Department moving vehicles around the dealership lot and retrieving vehicles to and from customers when service is needed or completed.

• Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors and communicating to service personnel of issues with the vehicle.
• Moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved.
• Using good judgement and safe driving skills while being courteous to customers.
• Shuttling customers to their homes, places, of business or designated aera and then picking them up after their vehicle is serviced in a timely manner.
• Maintaining the vehicle’s appearance and notifying the manager if the vehicle requires servicing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, road signs, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisor and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Associate’s degree (A.
  
  A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid Drivers License
