Warehouse Worker – Xylem

• Order Picking:
  Safely and accurately pick customer orders using a paper pick ticket or RF scan gun while operating a man‑up order picker or stand‑up forklift. Deliver pallets or carts to the designated packing area or station.
• Order Processing / Shipping:
  Prepare and package orders for shipment, complete computer transactions, apply shipping paperwork to products, and load trucks as required.
• Receiving / Put‑Away:
  Unload trucks using a sit‑down forklift, check in shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and move products from the dock to designated storage locations via forklift, order picker, or turret truck.
• Participate in annual physical inventory activities.
• Follow all company PPE and safety requirements.
• Contribute continuous improvement ideas to enhance warehouse efficiency, safety, and organization.
• Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.

• Experience operating various types of material handling equipment.
• Ability to perform frequent bending and lifting of products.
• Team‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers and scanning equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of warehouse‑related experience preferred.

• Ability to stand for 8 hours per shift.
• Frequent arm movement, walking, bending, and stooping required.
• Must be able to lift and handle medium‑weight parts up to 35 lbs.

The estimated salary range for this position is $19 to $23 per hour
. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills, experience, and work location and is not typically at the top of the range.
