Position: Network Operations Center (NOC) Support / Supervisor
Job Summary:

The Supervisor, Network Operations Center (NOC) Support, will oversee the daily operations of the NOC team, ensuring efficient monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems, with a particular focus on routing and switching. This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to manage a team of NOC technicians and ensure optimal network performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:  Supervise and mentor NOC technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Network Monitoring:  Oversee the continuous monitoring of network systems, particularly routing and switching components, to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Incident Management:  Lead the response to network incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Troubleshooting:  Provide advanced technical support for complex network issues, especially those related to routing and switching, collaborating with other IT teams as necessary.
Documentation:  Maintain accurate records of network incidents, changes, and resolutions.
Reporting:  Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and team activities for management review.
Process Improvement:  Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve NOC efficiency.
Compliance:  Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and project requirements.
Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in Cisco, Versa, Aruba products and network monitoring tools, protocols, and technologies (SD-WAN, SNMP, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls), with a strong emphasis on routing and switching.
Leadership

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Problem-Solving:  Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Communication:  Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are preferred.
