Receiving Associate

Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient Receiving Associate to join our team in Lucknow, India. As a Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments.

Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
Inspect received items for damage or discrepancies
Accurately enter receiving data into inventory management systems
Sort and distribute received items to appropriate storage locations
Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues
Assist in conducting regular inventory counts
Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the warehouse
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance receiving processes

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in using inventory management systems and barcode scanners
Basic computer skills and data entry experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
1-2 years of experience in hotels
Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts preferred
Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and best practices
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime when required
