About us:Our Children's Activity Centre is a vibrant activity centre supporting young people through engaging programmes, creative activities and personal development opportunities. We are passionate about creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where young people can thrive.
About the role:We are looking for a highly organised and friendly Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our busy activity centre. This is a key role, providing essential administrative support to staff, young people and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Providing general administrative support to the centre team
- Managing phone calls, emails and enquiries from parents, carers and partner organisations
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and attendance registers
- Supporting bookings, room schedules and activity timetables
- Assisting with finance administration (e.g. invoices, petty cash, purchase orders)
- Preparing documents, reports and correspondence
- Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding standards are upheld at all times
- Supporting events, activities and projects as required
- Must be aged 21+ due to the
- Previous administrative experience (ideally in a youth, education or community setting)
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, approachable manner when working with young people and families
