Studio Manager - Finishing Department

This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established, design-led manufacturer operating across high end furniture design near Ludlow. As a Studio manager within the finishing department, you will specialise in bespoke finishing activities while managing and supporting a skilled team of workshop staff.

• A full-time, permanent position, site based
• Monday - Friday - office hours
• Salary range up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience

• Managing and working alongside a team responsible for specialist finishing processes
• Applying high-quality finishes to timber, metal, and glass components
• Ensuring consistently high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Maintaining quality control in line with luxury furniture and interiors expectations
• Sharing specialist finishing knowledge and techniques with colleagues
• Supporting day-to-day workshop operations and workflow efficiency

• Proven experience in a similar finishing role within furniture, interiors, or a related sector
• A restoration background would be advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• A positive, self-motivated, and responsible approach to work
• Comfortable managing and supporting a team while remaining hands-on
• Willingness to learn and share skills within the wider business
• Fluent written and spoken English
