• Full‑time Electrophysiologist
• 6 total cardiac catheterization labs (2 dedicated EP labs)
• EnSite X EP System X & Carto 3 V7 and Carto Prime (both mapping systems are available onsite)
• All EP procedures, including LAAO (Watchman/Amulet), Pulmonary Fibrillator Ablation (PFA) in partnership with Boston/Abbott; PFA program approved and operational
• Call schedule: 1:7 cardiology call with only one major holiday per year

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified electrophysiology
• Medical license to practice in the state of Texas
• Visa accepted: J1, H1B, or O1

Heart Institute of East Texas (HIET) is a multi‑specialty cardiology group serving 12 counties in Deep East Texas, with 13 physicians including 1 EP and 4 invasive cardiologists. HIET is affiliated with St. Luke’s Health‑Memorial and has received national recognition from the American College of Cardiology. The practice offers a collaborative, patient‑focused environment with opportunities for advancement.
