As the Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
Primary Responsibilities- Follow all state‑specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care, and only use the treatment plans set by the supervising OT.
- Follow the plan of care, instruct and aid patients in evidence‑based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to state laws governing OTA’s.
- Observe, record, and report to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient’s response to treatment and changes to the patient’s condition.
- Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health‑care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently.
- Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full‑time employment. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
