• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility (transferring with Hoyer lifts or gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene (bathing, incontinence care)
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients when possible
• Do client’s shopping or accompany them to appointments (grocery, salon, doctor)
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete alone
• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations

• Passion to serve others – a true caregiver
• Excellent emergency response and first aid knowledge
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Experience with bathing assistance and incontinence care
• Experience transferring seniors using a Hoyer lift or gait belt
• Strong ethics
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and Dementia care
• At least 2 years professional experience with the elderly (facility, agency) or a CNA certification

• Pay: $11.00–$13.00 per hour
