American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Days OR position requiring 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience across multiple specialties.
Requirements- CST certification required
- BLS certification required
- 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience required
- License required if applicable
- Confident CST abilities across General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics specialties
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Operating Room unit with 8 regular beds, 2 cysto, 1 endo, and 2 c-section beds
- Days shift M-F, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with early starts and late ends rotated among staff
- Rotating regular call and back-up emergent call approximately 2 days a week and one weekend a month
- No floating required
- Uses PICIS EMR
- Hospital-provided green scrubs
- Prepare, manage, and maintain the sterile field in the operating room while assisting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
- Local candidates will not be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week and submitted with the application
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
