Position: Resident Care Assistants (2p-10p) - Pinecrest
## DescriptionMRC's Pine Crest is Lufkin's premier continuing care retirement community. We are currently seeking Evening (2pm-10pm) Resident
** Care Assistants.
** The Resident Care Assistants will:
* Administer the care of residents under the supervision of licensed staff and assists professional nursing staff by performing routine tasks in the care of residents
* Assist residents in adapting to changes that may occur due to illness and normal processes of aging
* Use one-on-one and group relationships to facilitate participation in activities, support interest, develop and sustain capacities and adaptive skills of residents
* Lead and coordinate various types of activities and programs for the residents
* Assist in the development and implementation of care plans

Qualifications
* High school graduate or equivalent is desired
* CNA license or two years of resident care experience preferred
* Must have a working knowledge of basic patient care procedures
