Job Description You will be the primary Manufacturing Engineer for the Tactical Missile (TSM) Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) area of Lufkin Production Operations. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to support the production of high-quality products. The Manufacturing Engineer will support an immediate team of Production Operators/Supervisors and Manufacturing, Quality, and Industrial Engineers; and will be required to regularly interface with a broader team of Program Management and Design Engineering functions as needed.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Providing technical support to shop floor personnel
- Developing and managing manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions
- Analyzing and resolving hardware defects
- Implementing engineering design changes
- Training new manufacturing engineers
- Supporting area-wide process improvement initiatives
- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing process equipment and tooling
- Integrating new assets and technologies
This position may require up to 10% overtime annually in support of program execution and periodic weekend support.

Further Information About This OpportunityThis position is in Lufkin. Discover more about our Lufkin, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills- 5 years of Professional Experience
- Green Belt training or certification
- Experience in developing, managing, and improving build processes to turn raw materials into functional product per engineering and industry specifications
- Experience in coordinating projects for process improvements
