American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring strong circulator skills across multiple surgical specialties and a TX or compact RN license.

• Operating Room unit with 8 regular beds, 2 cysto beds, 1 endo bed, and 2 C-section beds
• Days shift, Monday through Friday, scheduled 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with rotating early starts and late ends depending on case load
• Call responsibilities required 2 days per week as first call or backup, plus one weekend of call per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• No floating required
• Uses PICIS EMR
• Hospital-provided green scrubs

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience required
• Confident circulator skills across General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics specialties required
• Scrub and first assist experience preferred
• Must manage both sterile and non-sterile OR environments
• Must coordinate patient care, safety, and workflow throughout the entire perioperative period
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Responsibilities include circulating and coordinating perioperative patient care across varied surgical specialties
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• RTO requests must be less than one week and submitted with the application
• Candidates who worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
