• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.

Unit Details:

The unit has transitioned to a virtual integrated care (VIC) nursing model.

Common diagnoses include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, and CKD.Patients may require CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen.

Telemetry monitor technicians monitor patients, but RNs must be able to read cardiac monitor strips.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend is required.

Holidays are required.

Floating Requirements:

First to float to all medical-surgical units; may float to PCU to care for telemetry holds before they are transferred.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
