American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Operating Room unit with 8 regular beds, 2 cysto, 1 endo, and 2 C-section rooms
• Day shift schedule Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with early starts and late ends rotated depending on cases
• Call required 2 days per week as first call or backup, plus one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• No floating required
• Uses PICIS EMR
• 13-week assignment

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience required
• Must be able to manage sterile and non-sterile OR environments
• Circulator experience required across General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics specialties
• Scrub and First Assist experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Coordinate patient care, safety, and workflow throughout the entire perioperative period
• Hospital-provided green scrubs
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be less than one week and submitted with the application
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
