Responsibilities of the Industrial Sales Professional include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop strategic plans and accurate forecasts for accounts; communicate effectively internally and externally; resolve customer issues proactively.
  • Develop assigned sales territory, including Lufkin and surrounding counties.
  • Grow and maintain new and existing accounts.
  • Stay updated on trends in BPT, MRO for the products represented.
  • Identify new sales and service opportunities within the territory.
  • Solve BPT & MRO problems using the products represented.
  • Understand customer vision and supply chain initiatives; proactively provide solutions.
  • Establish and expand relationships with decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Exceed sales goals, objectives, and contribute to cost savings; provide routine reports and savings validation.
  • Provide monthly reports highlighting account status, challenges, competition, projects, and savings.
  • Qualifications of the Industrial Sales Professional include, but are not limited to:
  • Minimum 2 years outside sales experience in industrial supplies such as BPT, MRO, Safety, Hose & Rotating Equipment, or a relevant degree/background.
  • Customer-service oriented mentality.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in proposals, solutions, and problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience maintaining long-term customer relationships with repeat business.
  • Valid driver's license according to company standards.
