Job Summary

In the Direct Sales Representative role, you will be part of one of the most dynamic sales departments in the company. As a valued member of the Optimum door-to-door team, you will work in the ever-changing consumer landscape. Every day will be different, every interaction will be unique, and you will have the opportunity to provide our valued customers with a memorable experience, guiding them through our full suite of Optimum products and services, such as high-speed internet, advanced TV, mobile, and voice technologies, ensuring their solution best fits their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Customized Solutions:
    Dive into the unique needs of each customer and craft tailored telecom packages.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Stay up to date with the latest offerings, pricing plans, and technology.
  • Sales Pitch:
    Master persuasion selling in the field, showcasing the advantages of our products and services and addressing customer concerns.
  • Closing Deals:
    Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring customers are satisfied.
  • Documentation:
    Complete all paperwork, contracts, and sales reports with precision.
  • Relationship Building:
    Provide exceptional post‑sales support and assistance, fostering lifelong customer advocates.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Collaborate and share insights with fellow sales dynamos to achieve collective goals.
  • Targets and Quotas:
    Consistently meet or surpass monthly sales targets and quotas.
  • Compliance:
    Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and sales practices.
Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑motivator capable of working independently.
  • Proficient computer and technical skills.
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk.
  • Ability to work full time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual preferred to support effective communication with diverse customers.
  • Sales‑centric mindset with a passion for delivering results and building rapport.
  • Extensive product knowledge across mobile and fixed‑line services.
  • Digital proficiency: comfortable navigating CRM, POS, and other relevant software.

The pay range is $85,000.00 - $ per year (includes base plus estimated average annual commissions). Base salary at time of hire: $35,000, plus commissions. Commissions are estimated and not guaranteed. Earning potential varies based on individual sales performance and are subject to the terms of applicable commission plan(s).
