Junior Accountant

As part of our continued growth, a new opening has arisen in our Accounting team at our headquarters in Lugano. This position is open to junior professionals with 1 – 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or similar roles.

The nature of the role will require you to work both as part of a closely knit team and individually.

General tasks include
:

• Record, review and reconcile accounting transactions in compliance with company policies and IFRS accounting standards.
• Prepare and coordinate daily payment instructions with banking counter parties, monitor cash movements, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support quarterly closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of IFRS and Local GAAP statutory financial statements.
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes by providing documentation, analyses, and explanations as required.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement, standardization, and automation of accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Management.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or audit.
• High degree of accuracy, discretion and confidentiality and excellent teamwork skills.
• English and Italian proficiency.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
