The candidate will join the IT Card Management Centre of Excellence, with cross-functional responsibilities for credit and debit card management systems.
The systems operate on cloud-native architectures in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and support key payment processes in a highly regulated banking environment.
The role involves actively contributing to functional and technical analysis activities, supporting the evolution of application solutions and integration with core banking, payment circuits and external platforms.
Key Responsibilities Functional and Process Analysis- Analyse and understand Card Management processes: card issuance, lifecycle management, authorisations, clearing & settlement, fraud and chargebacks.
- Collect, analyse and formalise business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Support the business in defining IT solutions consistent with the bank's operational, regulatory and compliance models.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Risk, Security).
- Draft functional and technical documentation (application specifications, integration flows, data mapping).
- Support the design and evolution of microservice architectures in a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external development teams during the development, testing and release phases.
- Support the analysis and management of application incidents and production issues.
- Operate in a Dev Ops environment, actively collaborating with development teams.
- Support and understand continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, using automation tools (e.g. Jenkins).
- Use code versioning systems (Git, Bitbucket) for application configuration management.
- Provide support in application and infrastructure troubleshooting in cloud-native and distributed environments.
- Contribute to the stability, quality and scalability of solutions, collaborating on monitoring, logging and performance issues.
- Have a basic knowledge of Java and event-driven microservice architectures.
- Experience in functional and technical analysis in IT.
- Knowledge of credit and debit card payment systems.
- Ability to understand and analyse complex and distributed application architectures.
- Experience, even non-specialist, in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Dev Ops models and CI/CD pipelines

- Kafka or messaging / event streaming systems

SQL (PGSQL) - Java
- Monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Experience in banking or financial contexts.
- Knowledge of major payment circuits (e.g. Visa, Mastercard).
- Familiarity with GCP services supporting cloud-native architectures (containers, logging, monitoring).
- Knowledge of application security and compliance issues (e.g. PCI DSS, data protection).
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and oauth2 application authorisation standards
- Strong analytical approach and solution orientation.
- Ability to operate in complex and regulated environments.
- Aptitude for working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Proactivity and focus on continuous improvement.
