We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with strong SQL expertise and solid functional analysis experience to join us in Lugano. The role acts as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting business needs and IT projects in the banking industry.
Responsibilities- Define and manage functional analysis for regulatory, business, and IT projects
- Define, plan, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Take ownership of complex functional incidents in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Leverage advanced SQL to analyze, manipulate, and extract data in support of business needs
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and propose IT solutions aligned with business requirements
- Proven experience of at least 5+ years in an IT Business Analyst role within banking or financial services environments
- Strong SQL expertise, enabling advanced querying, data analysis, and effective interpretation of database structure
- Demonstrated capability in business and functional analysis within complex environments, coupled with the ability to design and model IT solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently while remaining strongly focused on results
- Fluent in Italian and English
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
