We have two very strong Machine Learning groups at USI, one lead by

Together with these colleagues we are building a new Data Science initiative.
Salary is highly competitive.
Each professor is entitled to two PhD students supported by the University.
The Swiss National Science Foundation is very rich in terms of competitive research founding.
