We are currently looking for a Windows Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Security team in Lugano.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructures (2016/2019/2022) and related core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online environments.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and updates.
- Automate tasks and repetitive activities using Power Shell scripting.
- Apply system patches, updates, and implement security policies.
- Manage user access, permissions, and group policies across hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to design, deploy and document new solutions or upgrades.
- Support virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) and monitor infrastructure performance.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
- 3–5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Windows Administrator.
- Practical knowledge of Power Shell scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Familiarity with monitoring, patch management, and security tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM, Intune).
- Good understanding of network principles and security best practices.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop will be considered a preferred qualification.
- Good communication skills in English (Italian knowledge is a plus).
