Category Buyer

Manpower Ticino is currently seeking a Category Buyer for a valued client operating in the industrial technology sector. The company is an international fast-growing organization that develops and delivers innovative solutions for critical infrastructure markets.

• Manage purchasing activities for an assigned category of technical components and materials.
• Issue and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and supply continuity.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support business needs.
• Monitor inventory, lead times, and procurement KPIs.
• Ensure ERP data accuracy and contribute to process improvements.

• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or technical procurement within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of technical, electrical, electronic, or industrial components.
• Experience working with ERP systems and supplier management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities autonomously and work cross‑functionally.
• Fluent English (minimum B2);
  Italian is an asset.
• EU/Swiss work eligibility.
