Trasteel Future, the Group's derivatives trading arm, is seeking a Software Development Intern to support the development of AI-driven agent systems, algo-trading strategies, and data tooling.

• Development and prototyping of AI agent workflows using frameworks such as Lang Chain, CrewAI, Auto Gen, or similar
• Development and backtesting of algorithmic trading strategies, with focus on signal generation, execution logic, and performance analysis
• Design and implementation of Python scripts and tools for automation, data processing, and system integration
• Management and querying of relational databases; design of data pipelines supporting trading and operations workflows
• Collaboration with Trading and Operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional prototypes
• Support for testing, documentation, and iterative improvement of AI tools and integrations
• Ability to handle technical and operational tasks beyond the primary scope of responsibility

• Solid knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Interest in and basic familiarity with AI agents, LLMs, and orchestration frameworks

• Experience with REST APIs and data integration patterns
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Knowledge of Italian or English

• Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach
• Operational flexibility and ability to work on diverse tasks
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment typical of commodity markets and international trading
• Excellent technical communication skills with a business‑oriented mindset

• Capacità di operare su attività tecniche e operative anche al di fuori del proprio ambito principale

• Solida conoscenza di Python
