Position Summary

The Crew Person is responsible and accountable for performing specific tasks and duties, as assigned, within the restaurant. This role provides each guest with a positive experience, prepares quality food products according to standards, and keeps the restaurant clean, pleasant, and safe for all guests and employees.

Essential Functions
  • Follow all Company Guest service guidelines and procedures; ensure all Guests receive “SUPERSTAR Service”.
  • Work assigned station(s) accurately and productively; clean and stock the station area(s); perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Ensure that all Guests receive hot, quality products; prepare, package, and deliver all products according to Menu Standards.
  • Handle all food products according to company procedures; follow all company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of Guests and employees.
  • Follow all company cash control guidelines to maintain and minimize restaurant costs; properly use all products, supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Demonstrate effective oral communication skills; communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements.
  • Position Qualifications/Core Competencies
    • Enrollment in high school; high school diploma or equivalent is preferable.
    • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
    • Must have reliable transportation to work.
    • Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, possibly including opening and closing shifts.
    Work Environment

    Fast-paced environment working with kitchen equipment in tight quarters.

    Physical Demands
    • Stand for long periods of time.
    • Bend and stoop.
    • Work around heat.
    • Be able to lift 50 – 75 lbs. comfortably.
    • Work with various cleaning products.
