- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and/or residents.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and training requirements as outlined by Allied Universal.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
