The South Shore Regional Centre for Education is hiring two full-time Teacher Assistants for Germany Rural High School. This position focuses on providing personal care support and behavior management for students, ensuring a respectful and safe learning environment. Assistants will collaborate closely with teachers and engage in hands-on interactions to promote student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with mobility and physical challenges

• Implement behavior management strategies under teacher guidance

• Assist in daily personal care routines

• Administer prescribed medications and medical tasks

• Communicate effectively with teaching staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Two years of education support training

• Certification in First Aid and CPR required

• Current background and child abuse checks

• Basic computer skills for reporting
