Maintenance Scheduler

Position: High Liner Foods Maintenance Scheduler
Join High Liner Foods in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia as a Maintenance Scheduler. Lead the planning of maintenance activities and ensure optimal workflow for efficient operations.

In this role, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will manage scheduling and planning of all maintenance work, ensuring proper input into the CMMS. You will work closely with maintenance technicians, track activities, and collaborate with Spare Parts Coordinators. Your efforts will focus on developing meaningful preventive maintenance plans and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and communicate status of maintenance requests to stakeholders

• Optimize maintenance schedules for all types of work

• Collaborate with Spare Parts Coordinators on efficient processes

• Manage data collection for labor and material costs

• Train staff on utilizing the CMMS for work management

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in an industrial maintenance setting

• Secondary School diploma is mandatory

• Thorough industrial maintenance knowledge

• Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office

• Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills
