Maintenance Planner

Position: Maintenance Planner at High Liner Foods
Enhance operational efficiency as a Maintenance Planner at High Liner Foods in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Oversee planning and scheduling to optimize maintenance work and ensure smooth production.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner is key to managing workflow processes and analyzing maintenance data. You will develop and schedule work orders, ensure accuracy in the CMMS, and collaborate with maintenance technicians for timely completion.

Your role involves optimizing predictive and preventive maintenance while training staff to utilize the CMMS effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage workflow processes inputting work requests into the CMMS

• Track maintenance activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders

• Collaborate on kitting process optimization with Spare Parts Coordinators

• Train maintenance staff in CMMS utilization and track KPIs

• Ensure all plant assets have necessary PMs recorded in the CMMS

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance

• Secondary School diploma required

• Strong communication skills in English

• Proficient in CMMS systems and MS Office

• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
