As the Sanitation Superintendent, you will be responsible for executing the Master Sanitation Schedule while managing a team of 20–25 hourly sanitation associates. This role will require you to establish strong partnerships with chemical suppliers, ensuring all practices are safe and effective. Your direct engagement with plant leadership will facilitate the resolution of sanitation-based issues and enhance operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the sanitation team, ensuring comprehensive training
• Maintain compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
• Oversee daily cleaning assignments for operational readiness
• Promote safe handling practices for chemicals and PPE
• Document sanitation activities and performance metrics accurately
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in food manufacturing sanitation
• Preferred HACCP certification and experience with audits
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Must be adaptable for third shift requirements
