Client Transportation Driver

Contribute to community care at VON Canada as a Client Transportation Driver in Lunenburg.

Your role includes transporting clients and delivering meals while ensuring their comfort and safety.

This permanent, part-time position requires a detail-oriented individual who interacts compassionately with seniors and adults with disabilities. Your responsibilities involve safely transporting clients, managing vehicle maintenance, and assisting in office support, promoting a healthy and safe environment for both clients and coworkers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport clients using an accessible vehicle safely

• Perform daily checks on the vehicle for maintenance

• Assist clients with transportation needs and securing equipment

• Engage in meal delivery and packing as needed

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all VON policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Minimum one year experience with seniors or disabled adults

• Valid G class driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract

• Ability to lift 35 pounds and handle accessible equipment

• Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search required
