General Labourer

THE EMPLOYER IS: BREEZE CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS LTD. This role will support day-to-day site operations by assisting tradespeople, maintaining site cleanliness, handling materials, and learning the basics of construction. It is designed to give someone practical experience in a construction environment.

• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Maintain site cleanliness and ensure safe walkways.
• Help set up and dismantle work areas.
• Move materials around the site as required.
• Assist with deliveries, waste disposal, and storing tools correctly.

• Site Safety Awareness - Understanding on-site safety procedures, use of PPE, hazard identification, and safe working practices under supervision.
• Manual Handling & Materials Movement - Learning correct techniques for lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of manual handling.
• Basic Tool Use - Developing skills in using basic hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels, tape measures) and assisting with simple construction tasks.
• Teamwork and Communication Skills - Building confidence in working as part of a construction team, following instructions, and communicating effectively on site.
• Time Management and Task Organisation - Developing the ability to prioritise tasks, organise materials, and complete work efficiently to site deadlines.
• Valid driving licence.
