THE EMPLOYER IS: BNL PRODUCTIONS LTDAs a Social Media Content Creator, you will help produce engaging content for social media channels. This role is ideal for someone who already enjoys creating videos, photos, or posts on their own accounts and wants to develop their skills further in a professional setting. You will be taught basic editing using apps such as Cap Cut, how to write copy and will receive full support from the team.

Responsibilities
  • Creating short-form videos, photos, and posts for platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and You Tube.
  • Assisting with planning content ideas and contributing creative suggestions.
  • Filming simple clips using a phone or camera (training provided).
  • Editing videos using apps such as Cap Cut (training provided).
  • Helping schedule content and posting updates across social media channels.
  • Writing basic captions, titles, and on-screen text.
  • Keeping up to date with current social media trends relevant to our projects.
  • Supporting the team during filming sessions, events, and behind-the-scenes shoots.
  • Engaging with audiences by monitoring comments or messages (with guidance).
  • Helping track simple performance metrics, such as views and likes (training provided).
  • Working alongside the wider creative team to ensure content matches our brand style.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic filming skills using a smartphone or a camera, or a willingness to learn through training.
  • Basic video editing ability, or the ability to quickly learn apps such as Cap Cut or similar apps.
  • Experience creating personal or hobby-based content on platforms like Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, or You Tube Shorts.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing techniques beyond simple cuts (e.g., transitions, effects, audio syncing).
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools or apps (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Understanding of social media algorithms and how to optimise content for engagement.
  • Experience using scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, or Buffer.
  • Confidence in front of the camera for occasional presenting or voiceovers (if required).
  • Ability to generate creative ideas and storyboard simple content concepts.
  • Experience with photography, including lighting and composition.
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools or social media insights dashboards.
  • Ability to multitask and support different projects within the creative team.
  • Interest in trends within entertainment, events, culture, or relevant industry sectors.
  • Strong interest in social media content creation, including short-form videos and photography.
