HR Administrator ( 12 month contract Maternity cover) - Lurgan

The company:

Our client a multi-national manufacturing company based in Lurgan is recruiting for a HR Administrator. This job is a 12 month contract to cover maternity.
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-2.30. Salary is £26,500 plus 33 days holidays, hybrid working after training plus many more additional perks.

The role:

As HR Administrator duties include:

  • Accurately maintain the HR systems ensuring fully compliant with all relevant legislation
  • Assist the HR Team with the recruitment & selection process including:
  • Placing advertisements
  • Acting as point of contact for any candidate queries during the recruitment process
  • Managing candidate correspondence including: arranging interviews, scheduling pre-employment medicals, inductions etc
  • Ensure all "new employee" documentation is collated and included in induction pack
  • Ensure that recruitment files and monitoring records are accurate and updated on the HR system to enable the Company to meet monitoring regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Monitoring return
  • Organise occupational health reviews, physio appointments and counselling support as and when required
  • Support onboarding and induction processes ensuring a strong new employee experience
  • Provide efficient day-to-day administration support to the HR Team
  • Conduct entry & exit interviews and follow up on feedback as required
  • Provide cover for the HR Officer during holidays and absences by processing the payroll as and when required
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies regarding temporary employees including;
    Arranging interviews, monitoring employees working hours, submitting employees working hours on a weekly basis and answering any queries around pay, absence, holidays etc
  • Undertake administration tasks in relation to training & development including:
    Sourcing relevant training courses, booking courses & venues and maintaining training records
  • Support audits, reporting and HR documentation
  • Supporting engagement initiatives
  • Update HR KPI's on a monthly basis
