High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals & Families, Business Owners and Entrepreneurs, Corporate Executives, Financial Service Executives (specifically Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Asset Managers), Retirees Approaching Retirement, Family Offices, Complex Trusts, Private Foundations, Private Companies and LLCs
Independent and privately owned wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, private foundations, and retirement plans. The firm oversees more than $10 billion in client assets and serves clients nationwide, with approximately 40 employees across two offices in Maryland.
Qualifications- Series 7 and Series 66 licensed, or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive & thoughtful
- Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and think clearly under pressure
- Self‑motivated and able to work in an autonomous yet collaborative environment
- Superior organizational skills and a strong ability to balance time‑sensitive priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Seek to improve and maintain existing client relationships, as well as the development of new ones
- Research client questions and effectively communicate solutions
- Support Financial Advisors in operational and managerial tasks
- Work collaboratively with the operations team, financial advisors, and other practice groups to ensure a streamlined and seamless client experience throughout the firm
- Coordinate and execute on client asset movements – verbally confirming instructions, creating and sending letters of authorization, managing capital calls and insurance premiums amongst other ad hoc requests
- Take the lead in opening client accounts
- Educate clients on Harbor’s services and solutions that fit their needs
- Field phone calls and emails
- Assist in the creation of client‑specific reporting
- Keep current on industry/firm processes and compliance rules
- Maintain detailed notes on client interactions
- Day‑one medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Flexible benefits (FSA, pre‑tax benefits, employer HSA contributions)
- 401(k) with employer match
$60,000-$70,000 with the potential for revenue share at the end of the first year for licensed candidates.
