OR Circulator Registered Nurse
Position: OR Circulator Registered Nurse (PRN) at Timonium Surgery Center, United Surgical Partners International, Inc.
The PRN Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. Responsibilities include positioning the patient, prepping, and circulating the case. Experience in surgical procedures is required.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state of Maryland (or applicable state).
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1‑3 years’ experience in PreOP/PACU or as a Circulator.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (and ALS) certifications.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient condition.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
