Group Management Accountant

Our client is a multi-site, multi-brand hospitality and food service group, including franchised operations, entering a pivotal phase of its growth. They are looking for a Group Management Accountant to join a small central finance team; the role will report to a Director and be supported by two assistants and an external accountant.

Hybrid role, 2-3 days on site

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, across multiple entities
• Produce site and brand-level P&L packs with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year
• Own weekly and monthly KPI reporting, including sales mix, labour %, food cost % and EBITDA by site
• Monitor cash and working capital, including weekly cash forecasting, settlements, supplier terms, VAT and PAYE
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, debtor/creditor reviews and intercompany accounting
• Support budgeting and rolling forecasts across sales, labour, food, overheads and capex
• Track royalty, marketing levy and franchise fee obligations by brand
• Maintain month-end processes and work with the external accountant and auditors to keep files audit-ready
• Improve the flow of data from POS to the ledger and automate routine reporting
