Product Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly driven Product Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality wiring, lighting, cable management, and electrical installation accessories. This role is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background, particularly in circuit protection.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the management of specific product categories, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with various internal teams including development, marketing, and sales to drive product success and profitability.
- Develop comprehensive product strategies and maintain responsibility for the entire product lifecycle.
- Keep abreast of market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that impact the product line.
- Explore and identify new market opportunities to enhance the product range.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials and product communications.
- Lead the planning and execution of new product introductions and marketing campaigns.
- Analyze market data to inform product pricing strategies and competitive positioning.
- Act as a primary product advocate, supporting sales initiatives and providing detailed product, market, and competitive analyses.
- Deliver training and support to internal stakeholders to enhance product knowledge and sales potential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A solid background of at least 5 years in product management within the electrical or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a methodical approach to problem resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively and independently.
- Customer-oriented with a proven track record of developing effective relationships.
- Innovative and strategic thinker with a proactive and hands-on approach to tasks.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Highly motivated with a clear drive for achieving and exceeding objectives.
