QTS Primary Teacher

We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with QTS to deliver PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) cover across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and KS2
• Provide PPA cover for class teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and classroom routines
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit the needs of different year groups and learning styles
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes pupil engagement and behaviour
• Communicate effectively with teaching staff to ensure smooth handovers and consistent pupil support
• Uphold the school's safeguarding, behaviour, and equality policies

• Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally across KS1 and KS2
• Familiarity with PPA cover or multi-year group teaching is advantageous
• Experience working in a mainstream school with diverse pupil needs is beneficial

• Adaptability and flexibility to teach across different year groups and subjects
• Strong classroom management and behaviour regulation techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and pupils
• Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively across multiple classes
• Confident in using technology to support teaching and learning
• A positive, proactive, and professional attitude

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science at grade 4/C or above
• Additional training in SEND or curriculum development is desirable but not required
